| Skill Details: | No skills needed. Learn how to remove lint and thread from your machine, the number one cause of a machine "sounding funny" or not working correctly. Learn how to thread your machine. Learn how to wind bobbins. Learn and practice straight stitch with different stitch lengths. Learn and practice adjusting thread tension to create ideal stitches (how to fix loops on top and bottom of fabric). What are all these dials for? Learn and practice adjusting dials and how that impacts your stitching. What stitches can I do on my machine? What does this thingy do? Bring all your questions, and we will have fun answering them! |

| Requirements: | Bring some fabric with which to practice stitching. Bring your machine, power plug and foot pedal. Bring your machine's screwdriver and cleaning brush and all presser foot attachments. Bring thread, bobbins, and Microtex needle (available for purchase as needed). Bring seam corrector (sometimes called a seam ripper.....so violent!!!). |
